Mara Measor

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Mara Measor is half-British and half-Chinese but you wouldn’t guess it when you hear her sing – that is, until she breaks out her Cantonese. After high-school she spent a year working and singing in Ethiopia and now performs as an Indie Singer-Songwriter in NYC. Think Ingrid Michaelson meets Norah Jones and has a conversation about Regina Spektor, in a Chinese restaurant.

Mara graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with an acting degree. She has performed at venues across NYC including Joe’s Pub, the Bitter End, Caffe Vivaldi, Path Café, The Harlem New Music and Arts Series, The Tea Lounge and Desmonds’ Tavern. Her music made July’s Best Of list on indiemusicreviewer.com and she was featured as “One to Watch” in Audrey Magazine. In 2012, she recorded a live performance of her bilingual song “I want to Love You” at RTHK in Hong Kong, which was shortly selected as a Best of the Year Performance. She was the winner of ABC Voice 2013 at Rutger’s University, and performed as a guest artist at Vassar College. Mara has also starred in numerous independent films and acted alongside Simon Russel Beale in the Atlantic Theater Company’s Off-Broadway production of Bluebird.

Tacit Closet

Tacit Closet is a rock trio formed in 2008. With over ten songs completed, our music ranges from rock ballad (Story Ends Abruptly), indie rock (You Know, Love Floods), to progressive rock (Fake Urchin Commercial Karaoke).

Our music influences include British Rock (suede, Mansun), Punk (The Clash) and Alternatives (Placebo, Muse).

After a two-year hiatus since 2011, we are now back in action and have started to work on new materials.

輕觸．点 – 由主音Martin, 低音結他手Eunice, 結他手William 及 鼓手Kapo 於2010年9月組成。
4人喜歡的音樂種類廣泛，沒固定創作風格，但都比較鍾情於easy listening的曲風，歌曲風格主要均以輕快的groovy rock為主, 亦有部份是帶出不同情境的歌曲. 希望能以簡單的音樂，令聽眾聽得輕鬆過癮愉快。

ElecTriCious is a Chinese rock band founded in Autumn 2010. The band is made up of 50% female (Eunice on bass, Kapo on drums) and 50% male (Martin on vocal and William on guitar)

The 4 of them are influenced by different bands and music genres such as Canto-pop, J-rock, punk, funk, R&B, Brit pop… however they are all attracted to “Easy-listening” styles. Their songs are all written in Chinese, incorporated with simple but happy and groovy elements.
