There will be a charity tshirt sale to raise money for medical treatment for a HK musician by We Rock We Mosh We Care.  Chan Li Fung was participating in a working holiday programme in Australia when he was involved in a serious traffic accident resulting in him being paralyzed from the shoulders downwards.  He is still undergoing medical treatment Downunder.

For the 2nd Rock Out with SR show, we continue to mix and match bands who perhaps aren’t usually seen on the same stage, in the hope of exposing them to new audience (and vice-versa):

  • Velvette Vendetta
  • FBI
  • 6 Pack Of Wolves

Velvette Vendetta

Formed in the summer of 2006, VV has never stopped impressing crowds with their energetic and infectious live performances since. The band strives to deliver both audio and visual pleasure to the audience which has been the standard of Velvette Vendetta’s performing art from the very beginning. Even with multiple movements within songs, the music is relatively simple to keep the grunge flavor which enables the band to deliver intensive performance on stage. With their hard works and their mesmerizing live performance, the band was featured in the compilation CD by legendary local independent promotor, the Underground HK. and have played at major music festivals around Asia.

F.B.I.

One Gwailo and three Hong Kong guys come together to form F.B.I., a band which takes its audience on a musical journey of diverse sounds and on-stage intensity. It’s hard to describe F.B.I.’s style of music because they don’t conform to just one style. I guess you will just have to find out for yourself.

6 Pack of Wolves

Leave behind your former wide-eyed idealism and the bands that played your school dance; forget teenage chemical imbalance, the desire to burn or break everything or fall in… and then straight out of… love. Now is the time of indignation, jaded cynicism, strained friendships and hair-trigger rage caused by the soul-crushing days you spend corporate whoring. It might not be what you think you’re looking for, but driving rhythms and big choruses are exactly what you need; we aren’t here to lift your spirits, we’re here to drink them. Try running with the wolves.
