From East to West, from North to South…the 6 members of Les Gromechkos are exploring all the hidden sides of Hong Kong to create a universe that echoes in their original tunes. Taking its roots in the early 60’s Jamaican Rocksteady, their music evolved in a unique blend of ska, rock and gipsy-punk. From a crazy accordion to a charming flute, from a canny keyboard to a bouncy bass, from a killer drum to the crystal glass breaking voice of their charismatic singer: you won’t stop your body from skanking on their catchy riddim.

Les Raviolis Vapeur

French for Dim Sum, the Raviolis Vapeur is a Franco-Australian-Hong-Kong band born during late night drinks in LKF. Rav Vap members all have day jobs but they share a common dream to make it big on the HK rock n’ roll scene with a unique mix of French and Anglo-Saxon songs.

Keyboards/saxophone: Pascal, the groovy swinger
Lead guitar/lead vocalist: Julian, cool looking with his ex-curly hair and suave solos. Girls, please behave, he is a family man…
Rhythm guitar: Gilles, all charm and sweet, but a hard rocker at heart
Drums: Stephane, 65 kilos of nerves and muscle, with a spark in the eye
Bass: Calvin, a multi-band rock-addict with a passion for French pop

Then we have Xavier, the fast running, smooth talking, bathroom singer, and of course “les choristes”, our amazing sometimes front singing back singers, Sigrid, Cecile and Alice, represented tonight by Cecile!

Quite possibly the NEWEST band in Hong Kong, this will be the acoustic trio’s 2nd ever show (the first one, of course, was a publicity photoshoot [sic])!
